Drawing upon the recommendations of a multi-disciplinary international clinical advisory panel, the Skin Cancer Institute will initially advocate for appropriate changes in the policies and practices of stakeholders to help the Institute achieve its mission.
- Training in early detection for Allied Health Professionals and other non-medical professionals.
- Dermatoscopy training for all Primary Care Providers.
- Increased access to specialist services for patients in rural and regional areas.
- Optimise scarce resources and improve efficiencies amongst stakeholders involved in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.
